Draft — pending legal review

This document is a working draft written for Feever. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer yet and may change before launch. Highlighted tokens such as {{COMPANY_NAME}} are placeholders for company details that are still to be confirmed. This is the isolated feever.io preview. Image and video generation are removed. Operator identity, support inboxes, pricing and these inherited draft terms require review before any paid launch.

Feever is for adults to explore fiction and fantasy with AI characters. Adults can do a lot here. A short list of things is never allowed, whatever the context. This policy explains both, and what happens when the rules are broken.

1. How we think about content

  • Fiction between consenting adults, with AI, is welcome. Mature content stays off until you confirm you are 18 or older, and you can turn it off at any time in Settings.
  • Everyone you meet here is fictional. Characters are AI-generated. That is why some things that would be harmful about real people are allowed in fiction, and why the lines below are about real harm, not about taste.
  • Some lines do not move. The things in section 2 are never allowed, in any mode, in fiction or in a ‘what if’. We stop them and we act on them.
  • We use judgement. We cannot list everything. If something is clearly meant to get around these rules, it breaks them.

Draft

This is a working draft pending legal review. Rules and enforcement steps may be adjusted before launch.

2. Never allowed (zero tolerance)

These are banned everywhere on Feever: in chats, characters you create, prompts, images, posts, comments and anything you upload. We block them automatically where we can, remove them, and may close the account straight away without a warning. Where the law says so, we report them to the authorities.

Human trafficking, sexual exploitation and child sexual abuse material are covered in more detail in the Anti-Trafficking and Anti-Exploitation policy.

Zero tolerance
Never allowedWhat this means on Feever
Minors, or anything that makes an age unclearAny sexual or romantic content involving a person under 18, or a character who is, appears to be, is described as, or acts like someone under 18. This includes “age unknown”, school settings used to suggest youth, childlike body or manner, and coded or role-played ‘ages’. If a character’s age is not clearly an adult age, it is not allowed.
Non-consentSexual content where one person has not consented, including rape, drugging, coercion and sexual violence, presented as real, as the aim of the content, or glorified. Fiction that both adult characters have clearly agreed to (a negotiated power-play scene, for example) is not what this rule is about; scenes that are about forcing someone are.
Real people without their consentUsing the name, face, voice, likeness or private details of a real person (a celebrity, a creator, an ex, a colleague) to create characters, images or sexual content. This includes “inspired by”, lookalike or face-swapped content, and fake ‘leaked’ material.
Illegal content and activityAnything that is illegal where you live or where we operate: child sexual abuse material, human trafficking, sexual exploitation, instructions for serious crimes, and content that infringes the law on obscenity, hate or terrorism.
IncestSexual content involving family members, including step and adoptive family presented as such.
BestialitySexual content involving animals.
Extreme violenceGraphic gore, torture, mutilation, or sexual content tied to killing, serious injury or death.

3. What adults can do

  • Use mature content once you have confirmed you are 18 or older (you can switch it off or back on in Settings). Romantic and explicit messages and images are then available as described in the Terms of Service.
  • Create private characters of your own, as long as they follow the rules above and are clearly adults.
  • Roleplay many kinds of fantasy, relationships, genres and moods, provided that nothing in section 2 is involved.
  • Change your mind at any time: you can turn mature content off, delete chats and delete characters.

4. Rules for characters you create

  • Every character must be an adult, with a clear adult age in the description, and must look like one in any image.
  • Do not base a character on a real person, or use anyone’s photograph, name or voice without their consent.
  • Do not copy someone else’s protected characters or artwork. See the DMCA policy.
  • Do not describe a character in a way that is meant to hide that it breaks these rules, for example by using ‘code words’ for age.
  • We may review characters, hide them, ask you to change them, or remove them if they break the rules.

5. Conduct towards others

Where you can interact with other members or with public posts and comments, you must not:

  • harass, threaten, stalk or bully anyone, or encourage others to;
  • post hate speech: content that attacks people because of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or illness;
  • share someone’s private information (‘doxxing’), or intimate images of anyone without their consent;
  • encourage self-harm, suicide or eating disorders;
  • impersonate Feever staff or other people, or run scams, spam or phishing;
  • promote illegal drugs, weapons, or terrorism.

If you or someone you know is in crisis, please see the Safety page for helplines. Feever is not an emergency service.

6. Reporting something

Anyone can report content or behaviour, including people without an account. Use the Support form with the topic Content, or email support@feever.io. Please include a link, a description of what you saw and why it breaks the rules. More detail, and what to expect, is in our Complaints & Content Removal policy.

  • Most serious reports (minors, a real person depicted, imminent harm) go to the front of the queue and are reviewed within 24 hours.
  • Everything else is reviewed within 7 days (a draft target).
  • We act on a report whenever the content breaks these rules, whoever sent the report.
  • Reports are confidential. We will not tell the person who is reported who made it, unless the law requires.

7. What we do about violations

We choose the action that fits how serious it is, how often it happens and whether it looks deliberate. Our tools, from lightest to heaviest, are:

Enforcement
ActionWhen
Block or filterThe request is refused or the reply is stopped before it reaches you.
Remove or hide contentA character, post, image or comment is taken down.
WarningFor first and minor breaches that look unintentional.
Restrict featuresFor example, turn off character creation, comments or mature content on the account.
SuspendA temporary ban while we look into it, or for repeated breaches.
Permanent banZero-tolerance violations, repeated breaches, fraud, or anything seriously harmful. Feeves on the account are lost, as set out in the Terms of Service.
Report to the authoritiesChild sexual abuse material and other serious crimes, as the law requires or allows.

You can appeal a decision, except where a ban is for something we must report to the authorities. See appeals in the Complaints policy.

8. How we moderate

  • Automated tools check prompts, messages and generated media for content that is not allowed. They can make mistakes in both directions. If something was blocked wrongly, tell us.
  • Trained people review reports and borderline cases. They see only what they need.
  • We keep records of enforcement decisions, to be consistent and to handle appeals.
  • We work with law enforcement and child-protection organisations where required.

More about how we handle data is in the Privacy Policy. If something is wrong here, tell us: support@feever.io.
